Why Choose 24 Mantra Organic?
Our Organic Journey: From Seed to Home
Our journey began with a handful of dedicated farmers, a shared vision, and a deep respect for the land. That initial spark has now grown into a thriving community of over 34,000 committed farmers across 12 Indian states, cultivating more than 1,90,000 acres of land with a shared passion for sustainable, environmentally conscious agriculture. By prioritizing natural inputs and respecting the ecological balance, these farmers embody the very principles of organic farming. Their commitment to the land, their dedication to delivering healthy, nourishing, and unadulterated food, and their unwavering belief in a better future form the heart of our mission.
We work with farmers from diverse agro-climatic zones of India, cultivating crops that are native to each region while considering the specific climatic and soil conditions. This careful approach translates into high-quality produce.
All our farming lands are supervised by our team members stationed across India. Our inclusive model involves partnering with local non-governmental organizations to mobilize farmers and train them in organic farming methods. We collaborate with leading agricultural research institutions and experts in India and abroad to develop best practices in organic agriculture, improving productivity, farm sustainability, and the quality of produce.
The next step in our journey is the meticulous selection of premium, organic, locally sourced seeds, nurtured according to the specific requirements of each region. This ensures that crops not only thrive but also retain their inherent qualities.
Unique Farming Practices
1. "Right Soil, Right Farmer, Right Crop" Method
A science-driven approach that optimizes crop selection based on soil and climate compatibility. This method enhances yield quality, boosts productivity, and promotes sustainable agriculture by ensuring that every crop is grown in the environment best suited for it.
2. Encouraging Farmers Through Organic Training
We provide hands-on training in organic farming methods, empowering farmers to become sustainability champions. This not only improves their livelihoods but also fosters responsible, eco-friendly agricultural practices across communities.
3. Green Manures and Biofertilizers
To maintain healthy, organic soil, we use nutrient-rich green manures such as farmyard manure, Azolla, herbal preparations, and biofertilizers instead of synthetic fertilizers. These practices replenish soil fertility and promote a healthy, self-sustaining ecosystem. Farmers are also encouraged to convert agricultural waste into nutrient-rich compost, reducing dependency on chemicals and improving soil health naturally.
4. Intercropping: A Resilient and Diverse Harvest
By combining crop production, we promote soil health, increase natural resistance to pests, and create a more robust, sustainable yield. To foster natural harmony, we embrace intercropping, growing multiple crops together to encourage beneficial interactions while minimizing tillage to preserve organic matter and reduce soil erosion. Mulching adds an extra layer of care, shielding the soil from harsh conditions and conserving precious moisture.
Our commitment to sustainability extends to biological pest control. We use neem-based extracts and beneficial insects to keep our produce free from hazardous residues while safeguarding the environment. By relying on nature’s own allies, we manage pests without compromising soil health. Additionally, carefully maintained buffers and barriers protect the land from contamination, preserving its organic integrity.
5. Zones of Buffering for Organic Purity
Our organic crops are safeguarded from chemical contamination through designated buffer zones that separate organic farms from conventional ones. These protective boundaries ensure the authenticity and purity of our produce.
6. Crop Rotation for Soil Vitality
We follow crop rotation to maintain balanced soil nutrients and prevent depletion. Green manures and cover crops protect the land from erosion, enhance fertility, and enrich organic matter. In addition, manuring and composting replenish the soil with essential micronutrients, sustaining its long-term productivity and ensuring healthy, abundant harvests year after year.
Quality Check Before Harvest
Level 1 – Social Control
Farmers are organized into small organic groups. Through a combination of self-adherence, peer supervision, and mutual accountability, these groups ensure that each farmer’s transition to organic farming is complete, a process that can take up to four years to fully realize.
Level 2 – Regular Field Visits
Our field officers visit every farm 2–3 times a month to monitor adherence, provide timely solutions, train farmers, and sustain the purity of the crop.
Level 3 – Internal Inspections
Randomly selected teams carry out a well-structured inspection process to maintain objectivity. These inspections, conducted twice a year, assess contamination risks from neighboring fields, process compliance, and overall organic integrity. We conduct over 30,000 such inspections annually.
Level 4 – Certification Agency Audits
Independent certification agencies conduct their checks twice a year, examining every aspect, farmer practices, soil quality, water purity, and produce samples, to ensure compliance with organic standards.
Level 5 – Final Pesticide Residue Check
Before procurement, every crop undergoes a pesticide residue test as the final safeguard, ensuring our products are 100% pure and free from harmful chemicals.
Direct Procurement Ensures Authenticity
For every 100–150 farmers, a dedicated supervisor oversees operations and ensures quality standards. We procure crops directly from the farms, right at the farmer’s doorstep. Procurement centers are strategically set up at the sites to minimize production risks and allow us to connect directly with farmers, completely eliminating middlemen.
All payments are made through banks or online transfers, ensuring complete transparency and authenticity. This direct approach has helped us build strong, long-term relationships with thousands of farmers across multiple states in India.
Every bag is carefully coded with details such as item name, variety, farmer code, group code, season, year, and quantity, ensuring full traceability from the farm to the consumer.
India’s first certified (MAT) Modified Atmosphere Treatment Facility:
Traditionally lots of chemicals are used in storing grains to prevent infestation. Our storage is done without the use of any chemicals. we adopt various measures to retain freshness, flavor and nutritive value
Sresta Natural Bioproducts Limited has been awarded the Registration of Modified Atmosphere Treatment/Controlled Treatment (MAT) Facility and the Certificate of Accreditation of MAT Operator. This includes the certification in accordance with NSPM-25 guidelines.
In India, Sresta is the first company to use the CO₂ Cocoon MAT facility. In a Cocoon system, the CO₂ fumigation exterminates any insect in the commodity. The CO₂ is flushed through the inlet port at the base of the cocoon, and excess air is released through the zipper at the top.
Modified Atmosphere Treatment : Our carbon dioxide-based modified atmosphere technology ensures grains and spices are treated without chemicals, making them safer and purer.
Machine Cleaning: We utilize cutting-edge machinery such as pre-cleaners, gravity separators, and sortex machines to ensure grains are cleaned to the highest purity standards.
Traditional cleaning : While automated systems handle the majority of cleaning tasks, manual intervention remains crucial for specific ingredients, such as small grains. Experienced females are designated to clean such products through a traditional hand-picking process under hygienic conditions to offer clean products.
Packing at a Certified Facility
Our products are packed at a facility certified for Food Safety Systems Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) by Intertek India (a UK Accreditation Service), one of the world’s most recognized quality certifying bodies.
We are compliant with the National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP)—Indian Organic Standards and the National Organic Program (NOP) – US Organic Standards. Additionally, we meet FSSAI regulatory requirements for India and FDA regulations for exports.
Our facility is equipped with the latest machinery and equipment to ensure foreign material control, metal detection, and microbial safety. All operations are managed by trained staff dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in food safety management. Every process and system at the facility ensures complete traceability from raw material to final product.
Packaging Excellence
Our packaging operations follow stringent quality protocols, overseeing every step of the product journey from farm to final delivery. This integrated approach ensures complete control over the organic integrity of our products, allowing us to consistently deliver premium quality to discerning consumers.
